Affogato. Famous Italian dessert. Dessert, liquor and a little kick of caffeine, all in one. It’s cold and hot, sweet and nutty, and feels like a real firework of flavours in your mouth.
The recipe is super easy. Just place two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a dessert glass (I prefer choc chunks ice cream), then pour over the shot of hot espresso, and shot of Frangelico liquor. Are you familiar with Frangelico, Italian hazelnut caramel liqueur? It works absolutely fantastic in desserts.
