High-quality bread becomes crunchy and aromatic after 3-4 minutes, cheap bread from supermarket turning into charcoal after 2 minutes.
For caramelized fruits. Heat a large saute pan over medium heat. Melt the butter, and then add the slices of pear and persimmon, cooking until they are slightly golden brown. Add the brown sugar and continue cooking until caramelized, another few minutes.
